The description or idea of God
God is omnipresent. God is present and active within creation including human race. He is everywhere. The true nature of God does not have a fixed, final nature. His nature is always doing, His becoming is what it is to be God. He is sovereign Lord over the whole universe. His existence was proven in what he has created whether natural or supernatural. For everything was created by Him for a purposeful well being in this universal. This give us an absolute assurance of who our creator is and He definitely created human being, the most intelligent creature on earth. This is the absolute truth about our creator and nothing can change the fact of our existence on earth. We can be actively involved with God in His creation and He is always present in our midst as our relational God. Therefore, when we have a personal relationship with God, He will revealed himself to us. He will present to us in His Creation, His Greatness, His Attributes and His Goodness.

Hi! I'm not so sure about human beings being the most intelligent creatures on earth! Haha!

Man was created by God and evolved. Man was made in the image of God and in likeness of God. Gen 1:26-27. The image of mand is a personal, rational and moral being, they possessed the elements of personality similiar to those of the divine God in the area of thinking, feeling and willing. While God is infinite and man is finite, nevertheless man possess one of the element "intelligent". So if we are not the most intelligent species on earth...I wonder whether the monyets and apes are better than us. Of course, I am not comparing ourselves with God.
ReplyDeleteMan was created in God's image and was placed in sovereignty over the earth.Gen 1:26. The divine intention was and is that man should have fellowhip with God in obedience. " ...let them rule over the fish of the sea....over the earth...." We are to have dominion over God's creation...to rule and to subdue...the original plan of God for human being.
ReplyDeleteThat is why we need to study God seriously so that we can start becoming smarter or activate our intelligent by starting to use our brain to know more about God and His plan. So who are you? Intelligent Being.

ReplyDeleteI can't answer about God's display in His attribute etc in Haiti. Only God have the answer. But I would post back a thought. An act of God in disaster makes people to think about God and said that He is cruel in their own human understanding. But where is God and His existence when there is peace and plentiful of richness? Does people acknowledge Him at all....but only in disaster do they find God.
ReplyDeleteWhen God chasten us or discipline us because He love us, we can have a negative perception of God as being cruel in punishing us. So this is human being in their understanding about God.
Refering to Kee Ming posting? We will know God when we marvel at His creation and His Awesome existence reflected in the beauty of the creation around us for eg. the rain, sunlight, rainbow, cloud, wind etc. We know this is not the invention of man but God. When we acknowledge who God is and His creation, then it will lead us to desire to know Him and make known to Him, our creator who created us. Of course, it is not just only His existence but also the word of God revealed to us the redemptive plan of God for mankind. To received His love and His redemptive plan of God, receiving our salvation thru Christ.
